Hating that you can’t quote text from tweets and link boxes directly since the last update. It just puts the url in instead.

I’ve had a notification a few times today while I’ve been mid post. It says something like “Your post is being edited in another window” and then it refreshes. When it reloads half of what I was typing has disappeared. I wouldn’t mind, but i don’t always remember what I had written – OA is probably missing out on some proper hilarious stuff.

I can’t see the answer anywhere, am I being blind? I also get the notification about my post being edited by another user when I try and edit a post of mine like the problem above. But this is something different. This notification appears before I even press post on what I am typing, not when I try and edit it. Today is the first time I’ve seen it.

Yeah had to edit your post a couple of times, some real filth that would not be suitable for a family friendly forum like OA. 
Looks like this has been fixed now.
Was there an issue with the site? Couldn’t access it a couple of hours ago.
We trained it to know when you are approaching with a dodgy twitter source and take appropriate evasive action.

Are people really bothered about me posting OTD tweets? The replies I’m getting to some are the sort of pettiness I would expect to see on AM. If there is indeed an overwhelming majority that have their day ruined by such things then I’ll put an end to it
Not me. Start this sort of stuff and it opens up a can of worms.

You do you bro, it starts conversations usually. For example the Perez thread would normally have started a conversation because he seemed decent when he was used but wenger clearly hated the lad.

If you’re enjoying posting them then carry on, I would suggest using a little contextual awareness, older players like Perez, Park etc aren’t going to met with much interest but someone like Poldi would instigate discussion. Though if you enjoy talking about the lesser know gunners then tear on.
Also when Arsenal are really shit the forum gets a little quiet and grumpy so don’t take it personally.

Yeah there was one with a “it’s Robin van Persie’s birthday today!” in the RvC thread.
Kinda shitty to post that on an Arsenal forum but otherwise, all the other tweeted links for our players have been good.
