Serie A

Surprised, I thought antihistamines would be pretty accessible in Turin

Fuck yeah I would, Allegri is a better manager than Unai, simply won’t happen though.

Mourinho at Juve. Scenes!

Allegri is a world class manager. But the reality is he’s had to contend with a poor transfer policy and over inflated expectations.

Allegri left for the same reasons that’s Conte left and that’s for asking the team to sign certain players to move forward. The signing of CR7 has actually created an imbalance in that squad now and it’s so obvious to see.

Undoubtedly he hasn’t helped himself but his record of 2 CL finals with knockout stage wins over multiple big teams is proof of his ability.

11 trophies in 5 seasons and 2 CL final appearances. He’s an elite manager and he’ll be successful wherever he ends up.

Top 3 in the world.

Fair enough, in my view he’s not as good as you’re saying.

Like I said he’s too conservstive, not bold enough and his teams don’t play attractive football. Juventus win that league by virtue of having the deck stacked in comparison to the competition, it’s a good look he won all those titles but just like the Bundesliga it’s practically a one horse race.

Bringing in Ronaldo has indeed created an imbalance, however, surely he should make it work better than he has? Dybala has become a shadow of his self because of the way Allegri has allowed that team to become so reliant on Ronaldo in the space of a single season. Ronaldo should be the finishing piece, not the whole plan.

Even before Ronaldo came in that team should be playing way better football than they do, look at how Sarri had Napoli playing. Never seen close to that from an Allegri team. We’ll see what he does in his next appointment but for me he’s gone down in my estimation.

Atalanta to bounce back from Coppa Italia disappointment today with an improbable win at Juventus Stadium, thus sealing Champion League football next year for Italy’s most dynamic team :+1:

Love me some Papu Gomez. Anyone my height that can ball out the way he does is alright in my book.

Dybala should leave Juventus. Considering his profile, his involvement has been so sporadic

He’s starting today at least.

Don’t know why I just realised that the Atalanta manager is one Gian Piero Gasperini who I felt Inter did him harsh sacking him many years ago for the audacious crime of going on a losing streak.

From the looks of it he stuck to his guns too with the style of play and formation, good on him.

Excellent manager and deserves another chance.

Got a decent core of players at Atalanta as well. Duvan, Papu Gomez, Marten de Roon and Mancini.

One guy I think we should be looking at is Malcuit from Napoli. AdL is an insane person and probably a nightmare in negotiations but we have zero LB options at the moment and I would really like us to play a 4-4-2 diamond next year.

Imagine leaving after finishing 3rd in the League, reaching the league cup final and possibly winning EL. Can’t win at that team. Preposterous.

It’s clearly not a good fit for him or the club, why persist just because they got third due to us and United being a little bit shitter than they are? Nobody cares about the league Cup at Chelsea, making the final means fuck all. Chelsea would also be expecting to reach the EL final with the quality of teams in the competition and the run they had, that’s not a massive tick in the pros column for Sarri either.

His and their season was not particularly impressive and him going wouldn’t surprise anyone

Well, the thing is I agree to an extent but they have made a mockery of managers in that club. Players are losing interest and have clearly started being money merchants there.
One of the reasons I don’t mind Emery getting another season is because I don’t want our club to follow suit.

Sarri deserves better than Chelsea anyway. He’s a good coach and if given the platform and tools to build his side - he can be successful wherever he goes. I think he’s actually a perfect fit for Juventus but I hope he ends up at Milan and Conte ends up at Inter.

I’d also love it if Pochettino went to Juve so we can see how he copes at a big club.
