The job is a poisoned chalice in the end because their squad is still fairly mediocre, probably somewhere between 6th and 9th best in the PL, and even with the shiny new stadium Levy isn’t going to invest the kind of money needed to compete at the top.
No matter what the manager does, you’ll still have a fanbase expecting to play regularly in the CL and not happy being the third best side in London but without any way to get there beyond the sporting directors just crushing the market for underpriced players for 2-3 years straight and getting world class players out of your academy like at the beginning of the Poch era.

Frank is a nice guy but I am not worried at all.
He’s just another flavour of the month that Tottenham want.

I quite like Frank, he comes across as very classy. Don’t think he’ll let the Spurs stink get on him, if he does take up the position. However, I hope he stays away from them cause he’s a capable manager. Will get them into the top 7 or 8. I have more faith in him than in Amorim at United.
