Actually a shame, gives them an excuse to be shit now but we all knew it was coming anyway.

Easy fixtures and claiming they’re title contenders lol get fucked

Meh, we’ve dealt without having some major players in our squad and we’re not looking shabby.

Fuck Spurs :vinai:

Now contrast the breathless coverage of Spurs beating up on relegation fodder with the way Arsenal was dismissed after setting a close to 100 point pace last year. I don’t understand why the media is so desperate to gas them up at every opportunity.

This picture of him is seriously starting to get on my nerves, lol

So he’s been made Manager of the Month 3-times in a row? Is this a new record? :astonished:

Think that Chelsea game will be the start of their demise now, they lost their heads the same way Newcastle did against us last season at St. James’ Park.

I’m not writing them off entirely until we’re ahead of them, but it’s pretty bleak for them now with the injuries to Maddison, not to mention the suspensions to Romero and the other guy.

As good as Madders is, this must certainly be one of the things that cost him a big move.

Talent is obviously there, City shortlisted him for a reason. I doubt they were the only ones. However, only Spurs and Newcastle prioritised earlier this summer and that should ultimately tell you something.

He’s had a reoccurring hip issue, knee issue and now an ankle issue too? Dude would be out for the season the second he arrived here.

IMO, they will fall off badly now and will end up fighting for the 4th-6th spots with Newcastle, Villa, and maybe United or Chelsea if either can get their act together.

What do you mean - you had them as title contenders only 1 match ago? Surely one loss and a Madders injury doesn’t change that

3 straight managers of the months and Man City are top of the league lol.

Hehe you’re right. I mean, if you’re at the top of the table then you are title contenders until you aren’t.

I think this next period, they’ll deffo struggle though.

Lol he’s making excuses just like every other manager in the world…but styling it out by chucking “mate” in there 15 times.

The media narrative around him was getting really nauseating.

I still reflect on that absolute shitfest where they got a draw out of us. Freak / fluky goals.

Cant wait for the excuses after they’ve lost four straight.
