Scum

Is this where it all turns sour for Big Ange?

Nah I still think he’ll get spurs a CL place which is an unwavering success.

They’re still likely to get top four because clubs that would normally compete like Chelsea and Man U are useless.
Let’s face it, Chelsea didn’t look like they were going to beat spurs, until they had players sent off.

Yep, they’ll fall off.

Ange back to mediocrity. Love to see it.

As expected, seen some people suggesting they were stunning and brave and defended like lions before ultimately falling short. It’s just utterly embarrassing.

If they were playing anyone with any of attacking prowess they would have been decimated adopting those awful “Ange Ball” tactics.

Feel like Spurs have been very lucky in a lot of their games. Good to see the luck has ended. Honeymoon phase over.

I know a few of us on here have commented about how open they are in all their games. Makes for exciting stuff if you’re a neutral but always bound to be an issue at some point.

They’ve had a great draw so far; Luton, Burnley, Sheffield, Bournemouth. That’s almost half their games against sides that are genuinely terrible, 2 of which we have spanked with 9 goals scored and 0 conceded.

Still think they are good for a top 4 spot and honestly I think most Spurs fans would have snapped your hand off if offered that at the start of the year.

And on the flip side spurs are merely a tool used by the media and rival fans to banter us with. As a spurs fan imagine that being your whole clubs point of existence.

I hope the media have taken a note of this statement, so when spurs lose points because of the referee, he will not be complaining.

It’s like when we’ve been criticised for over celebrating by anti Arsenal pundits like Neville, then see Man U celebrating as if they’ve won a European final, when they score an injury time equaliser against a relegation club and he keeps his mouth shut.

It’s easy for Ange to have the moral high ground while decisions are going his way, like the undeserved points against Luton and Liverpool but let’s see what his reaction is when they don’t.

Gary Neville having a fucking aneurism about us taking corners when the stats came out after the game showing they were broadly in line with the league average.

I actually thought spurs played ok last night but having said that Chelsea were really poor. I mean when we played Chelsea they played really well but we would have battered that team Last night that played spurs. It sounds funny to say but did anyone think the spurs players were on something like speed? They were running and chasing down every ball as if they had just come on the pitch but they were doing this on 90. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team with so much energy and this although is good in the short term for them it cannot carryon - they will be burnt out by December -jan. There is no getting away from the fact Chelsea were terrible last night.

Err he literally got booked for not respecting a decision

These think pieces on Spurs today are proper sending me.

If I didn’t watch the game you would think Spurs thrashed Chelsea yesterday and made a title charge statement.

Lots of praise for their team, especially for Ange on how he stayed true to his values and apparently Spurs were the better side, even with 9 men. There’s also praise on how he addressed the refereeing decisions compared to “others”.

This is all just madness at this point. Every season now there’s the over the top Spurs loving after a good run of results. We saw it with Mou, we saw it with Conte, even Santos after winning his first 3 matches there.

Then when it all goes kaboom they either act like they’ve always seen it coming or act naive and say they don’t know what went wrong.

You got the same with Bielsa. Even when his team were losing and heading towards relegation, there were still pundits who were commending him for ‘staying true to himself’.

They could have got easily got a point yesterday if they didn’t play a kamikaze high line when down to 9 men.

Yeah, just listening to a podcast and they’re saying it’s an amazing credit to the coaching staff that the players will continue to play the way they’re coached even under duress, because their natural instincts would be to sit back.

And then they added that it’s good because they probably would have lost anyway. Wonder if that view would be the same if it wasn’t Perfect Ange.

And apparently this won’t dampen Spurs, they will wake up today thinking “that was fun” rather than the truth which is they were a fecking disgrace!

If the manager frames it well, he can basically say that it took quite a lot from Chelsea to break them down and they were Dier, Son and some guy’s header away from scoring an equaliser at one point.
A good manager/orator can use this as a confidence booster.
