£26m for another 30 year old is not the right move imo.
£45m for a 25 year old may seem pricey but we should be able to sell him on for £50m+ in 3 years time, if needed. He is is a player for right now and an investment.

He might be the quality we need, but there’s no point in quality if quality ain’t present on the pitch. Could be worth £200m or £2m, it’s all the same if you’re injured. Surely there will be alternative options out there.

One option to buy loan signing a year from Barca is Rauls ceiling.
Loan would be very good. We can loan back Saliva for that season and evaluate next season.
