Just read on twitter that Lavia has the same agent as Saka, Eddie, Balogun.
Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. We know him very well but no easy deals.

Younger and better than Vieira and Lokonga. Get those two dossers out and Lavia in. Upgrade.
Lavia has shown that he can perform in the Premier League. Possibly not quite ready for the big teams in the Champions League, but we have Jorginho, Partey and Rice for that. Add El Nenny and another new signing and I’m happy with our cm options.

He takes their role as young player who can fill in. Lavia has actually proven that he can perform in the Premier League on a consistent basis. Neither Fabio or Lokonga have

Rodri is clear, Partey and Casemiro rightly that level behind him imo.
Casemiro is a wonderful player, not sure why anyone needs to deny that. United still well overpaid given his age and won’t get too long out of him but it was a good signing. He was the under-appreciated man in that Madrid setup.

I said in April that it was my belief that Partey is off. I strongly suspect he lost his mojo when he found out the club wouldn’t be renewing his contract. It wasn’t just his form that dropped, so did his work-rate and his body language was worrying.
I could be wrong but I’m convinced.

I don’t see Elneny as a serious option to be honest with you.
He can give 1st teamers a rest for a few cup games and maybe as a fresh pair of legs as we’re closing-out games. He’ll have an important if low-profile role.
