Not really because neither are an upgrade on what we have.
Although either Rice or Caicedo and one of Havertz or Laviz would be acceptable.
But Rice and Maddison would be better.

No way, based on last season Rodri, Partey and Casemiro were miles ahead.
Then in terms of best of the rest it was between Rice, Caicedo and Palhinha, probably in that order too.
Current Rice at his best isn’t better than current Partey at his best. The benefit Rice will have is that he will be the future of this team and his availability so far in his career has been almost perfect whereas the same can’t be said for Partey ever since he joined us.
Having them both will actually be insane considering how much this position has hurt us the previous decade and a half.

Lol, that’s nonsense. You can see how critical I’ve been on Casemiro here on occasions.
Having said that, him, Rodri and Partey have been head and shoulders the best #6s in the league this season.
Remove him for Man Utd this season and they’re probably still trophyless and not in the CL.
United lost some important games while Casemiro was starting
