I remember that Walcott run.
His confidence was really high after scoring a hat trick in an International qualifier if I am not wrong.
That said, is the video mirrored? I remember the run was made from right side, not left.

Tbf his ability to run with the ball and dribble was only declining after that and it was so sad and frustarting to witness that, one of the saddest things as an Arsenal fan tbh.
He was beating people for fun in his early years, later on he couldnt even run with the ball properly.
No. It was made from the left and that’s one of the reasons it sticks out in memory. That was one of the very rare moments/games to see him playing on that side and he actually looked very promising and I always wanted to see him more there (at leaat around that time).

Yeah in hindsight, Wenger should have experimented Walcott on left considering the impact modern wingers have playing on opposite side of their preferred foot.
