Still a cunt.

Him or Cesc. I’d go for Cesc personally.

I’d put Santi, Cesc, Özil and Alexis above him.

And Elneny obviously.

His free kick technique in his younger years was insane.

Cesc Fabregas
Alexis Sanchez
Robin Van Persie
Mesut Ozil
Santi Cazorla
Aaron Ramsey
Bacary Sagna
Laurent Koscielny
Theo Walcott
Per Mertesacker
Nacho Monreal

That’s my order. May have forgotten someone crucial

Those two were our last golden boys. Sanchez and Ozil came close, but where not of that level in my opinion.

RvP was just a different kind of footballer. Truly part of the beautiful game.

I cantry to understand Sanchez but How can you exclude Ozil from being part of beautiful game

Testament to his talent that he’s so high on the list with them injuries. Genius of a player.

RvP and Cesc raised the level of the players around them. Talismanic. Just smarter footballers than basically everybody else. The whole team would perform more cohesively when they were on the pitch. Huge influence on the output of their teams.

Sanchez was superb but not quite at the level of these two in terms of influencing the rest of the team’s performance.

Sanchez was literally changing results for us at one point. I’m not saying RvC wasn’t doing the same (Especially in late 2010/11) but saying Alexis is an inferior player to Cuntegras is laughable

Maybe a poster or two will disagree on this… I think Van Persie had better vision and better eye for that killer pass than Ozil. There’s not a trace of doubt for me there. And I’m not saying that to diminish Ozil, I’m just saying what a genius allround footballer Van Persie was. I remember I used to edit his passing to around 90 in FIFA back in the days.

Huge football IQ.

Rvp was the definition of a total attacking footballer, absolute insane talent. Shame he was a total rapist and a total cunt too.

Not a bad list in general, I broadly agree. Rosicky might make in there somewhere at the bottom.

Van Persie had a very limited skillset though which coupled with him being a cunt stops me from ever appreciating his game.

For all that romance about him running around with his ball in his neighbourhood, He just couldn’t run with the ball. Probably the only world-class footballer ever who I couldn’t stand watching when it came to running with the ball. Ridiculously slow Ramsey-esque choppy dribbling.

For all his vision, he never really displayed his passing ability as much, so I don’t know why we are even putting any value in it.

Wow we remember him very differently.

Let me ask you this.
If Robin Van Persie was clear on goal from half way line with the closet defender 10 yards behind, can he go all the way?

Can the so called ‘total attacking footballer’ go on a long run, and score like Sanchez used to do?
One example below
