Sir Bob picks a five a side team. Caught like 2/3 of this when it was broadcast yesterday. decent listen.
Every time I read anything about those great players from the late 90s, early 2000s, it brings a tear to my eye. How far have we fallen? Not one player we have have had in the last 7 or 8 years is good enough to even lace the boots of those greats.

Still remember being a kid and my old man going on and on about how Pires was the best winger in the world leading up to his injury.
Obviously grew up in NZ and so I thought ‘soccer’ was “gay” back then and kinda tuned out when my old man would talk about it.
Luckily I started actually following in 03/04 so got to see a few seasons of Pires.
