Robert Pirès

 Cure for my soul.

His return to London, flashback to how his Arsenal career ended and much better times, followed by a reunion

This video made 10 times better by having Gang Starr over it.

I don’t care I think Pires has a place as the most underrated PL player of all time.

Every time I see an old players thread bumped I’m expecting its his birthday.

You say this as if we know who he is

Pires in the same forward line as Henry, Bergkamp and Ljungberg,
It doesn’t get much better than that.

This video.
We really have come so far with the video quality these days. You can’t even see the faces clearly in this video.
That said, I wish broadcasters added a little grains for nostalgia purpose.

I don’t care too much about the resolution quality.
The editing of these videos and the music choice is brilliant imo. Doesn’t kill the video by editing the guts out of it so you can’t even see what a player did like you see in most football videos, adding depressing (electro upbeat) music to it.

Tons of great Arsenal material from the invincible years, and early Wenger days on the channel in general :+1:

Look at Ljungberg skipping on the backward pass to Vieira and driving through the ranks instead.

I hope Arteta hasn’t seen this, he might have a heart attack.

I knew we’d win the league at that point.

Both games v Villa were good that season.
