I like Chamber for the same reason I liked Jenkinson—he can be aggressive when he needs to be. Better CBs have been pushed aside in favor of Holding’s potential and he hasn’t risen to the occasion.

I never hide my sympathy on Chambers. He deserved more chances.
Holding showed NOTHING that he should cement that place and have better treatment than Calum.

Chambers can play in three different positions. Holding can barely handle one. He looks like Harry Maguire’s little brother on the pitch.

Holding’s inconsistency is too much for me. Some days he looks very good then nights like against Villa you’d think he would struggle in the championship.
Personally I think he reads danger too poorly on top of limited athleticism to ever be a top tier defender. We could have given his minutes to Saliba so far and we’d be no worse off in the table.
Starting to worry that we’re going to tank that successful investment just like we did with Guendouzi.

Killed me too when I saw it live. They’re cunting you about son, go in hard as fuck and worst case scenario you give away the foul outside the box/cripple Barkley or Grealish.
Either way it’s better than standing off, showing them respect and looking like a complete pussy as we concede.
So many players have no pride, passion or intelligence. Half our fucking squad looks like they won the Carl Jenkinson Foundation award where fans get to play for the team. And they aren’t even great fans, better fans like Watkins are fucking our shit right up.
