Which means Saka and whoever LW will do a lot defending and running up and down.
Maybe, Pep has essentially dropped that and is practically going with a straight up 3atb now.

I think we should ship him out of he gets another LT injury next season. Can’t afford to keep carrying players who are never available to play.

They will most certainly lowball. But it’s better than having someone who’s never here when needed.
All in all, I hope he can become a mainstay here.
My dream is for him to become the long term successor of Gabriel. That’s where his ceiling is the highest imo, and he can surely do it if he shakes off the injures.
A lot of options at the back line if everyone remains mostly fit the next season. I hope MLS starts moving to the midfield more often, with White and Timber as the first choice full backs most likely. Calafiori can still get a lot of minutes as a CB/LB if he remains fit.
He managed to get 28 appearances this season, even with all the injuries. Would have had the double od that if he stayed fit.

Yeah, I’d sell at any decent offer now.
It’s a shame, but let’s face it he’s useless.
Obviously a top talent, but seems his body can’t handle the top level football.

I wonder if its another case of some procedure needed to get something right in the summer.
If an offer that’d see us break even comes in fair enough but otherwise he’s not gonna go.

Definitely don’t agree with that, he was our biggest business in the summer. There had to be intentions for him to be a starter.

Also he was slotted in at the beginning of the season, intentions were clear
£42m for a guy that’s barely available to play any games.
He’s good looking and can score a screamer, but that’s about it.
Never available, should try to shift him on if possible.
