for all the hate AFTV gets; they’ve really turned themselves around in recent years.

The quality of production from their work is top notch these past few years.

It’s such a shame that it’s early years were marred by gangsters and football hooligans.

AFTV was what it needed to be when it needed to be it.

They wouldn’t have even gotten off the ground doing the stuff they do now, it got attention from being ridiculous, dramatic and toxic.

Now they’re established and rebranding the business, people will eventually get over the start.

I only watch AFTV on YouTube for Robbie’s hilarious transfer rumour clips.

I would like to see us get to a point where we’re regularly just mixing and matching on the right hand side between Saliba, White, and Timber. We can give Saliba or White a rest at the weekend no problem with a big CL tie coming up because Timber can come in for either. Or we can choose between White and Timber at RB depending on how we want to attack the other side.

Same deal on the left hand side with Calafiori, Big Gabi, and Zinchenko. Nobody has to play twice a week if they’re really jaded or out of form.

And then Tomiyasu and maybe Lewis-Skelly to eat up some minutes in cup matches or during an injury crisis. Kiwior back to Italy.

twice a week is okay, 3 games in 8 or 10 days are too much.
Now we have the options and ability to rotate.

Not sure if we have been waiting for too long, I do not see the reaction and excitement I originally expected.

This could be the last (or second last) piece of the puzzle of our team.

Having RC-Gabbi-Wil-Blanco as our back 4, we could easily have our fullback invert to midfield, and the other 3 (mainly about RC and Blanco) are natural CB. While RC has a tendency to carry the ball up, and Blanco already has great linkup with Saka and Ode.

RC may not have the killer pass that Zinny has, but defensively and physically he could be and supposed to be the best partner of Rice, if we switch to double pivot and move Ode as CAM.
Very flexible.
This is just juicy to think about.

You answered your question. :slightly_smiling_face:

He wasn’t lying, he was at one of our games last season.

Why would anyone think he was?

Better embed.

If we could just find a maverick like Henry somehow to add a little style to the system football, that would be awesome.

I loved that clip of him walking to the game with the home fans

Someone needs to send this to that LeeJuve guy immediately.

I bet not a soul amongst the home fans realised who he was.

I certainly didn’t, heard about him for the first time at the Euros

They were all experts on him after the Euros though lol

Contemplating if I want to see him later in the friendly or prefer that he doesn’t play in those awful pitches in the US.

Absolutely not. He doesn’t need to be anywhere near a pitch that was just used for a u-12 rugby regional and a jazz festival in the last week.

Been excellent 15 min he played.
