Riccardo Calafiori (33)

Got a proper player on our hands here lads, very excited to see him grow at the club

Got the best trim too!

Was cool even when couple of Aston Villa players try to rattle him lol. Composed defender who seems to read the game very well defensively.

Almost gave a pen away but Duran wasn’t smart enough to leverage it.
His willingness to push on and and be aggressive is the key difference between him and Kiwior.

I thought Ben White was the ultimate shithouse.

Calafiori is going to be the left sided shithouse that makes us the shithousery legends of shithousing.

I fucking love this player.

The asymmetric nature of having a shit-houser on only one side of the formation kind of fucks with my OCD.

I’m happy we got a cunt on both flanks.

I was thinking maybe we move White into midfield and play Calafiori behind him and then play Havertz on the left wing. They’d form like a super shithouse.

A triangle of shithousery?

If it works, I’m willing to tear my fingernails out, and repeatedly smack my head against a wall.

Better than a triangle. An arrow. An arrow of shithousery.

Lovely use of the word interventions I have to say

Better yet, to convey an ultimate sense to the shithousery, to use the phrase ‘a triumvirate of’…

The Holy Shithousery Trinity

It’s been a while since we’ve had ‘nasty’ players that our clubs absolutely despise.

Here for it!

We’ve got a potentially great player on our hands and he seems very ready and able to come straight into the first team. I love how robust he is, and the shithousery, but he needs to be careful of bookings and potential red cards. I want our Italian stallion to last the full 90mins, rather than heading off for an early shower.

What a coincidence, man. I want the same :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Love the way he heads the ball, seems to always have direction and determination in his heading.

got a great first impression, especially felt he read the game so well, hadn’t watched him play club football prior, excited to have him here!

Great lil cameo by him. If that’s a trailer of what’s to come, we have one heck of a player on our hands. Am excited about what he can offer.

My first impression, from that first game days ago, is that he seems a bit bigger than I thought at first…

Definitely looks more like a CB than a LB/CM… I think him slotting into the LCB position in stead of Gabriel in a few years and selling Gabriel for a decent fee while he’s around 30 seems like a pretty decent scenario.

We are so comforable and full of options at the back right now, wish we had anything near that up front. :trossard2:
