Some fans were against Arsène Wenger because, according to them, he was not anymore capable to bring good players and organize the team. Fate responded with Raul Sanllehi and Unai Emery.
Since the spaniard took over, the club haven’t made a single step forward.

Running contacts based recruitment only works if you have a lot of money to spend and are also good at selling players. Arsenal don’t have a lot of extra money to spend (allegedly) and are terrible at selling players.
It’s going to be a very big summer for Raul (obviously). Just look at the squad!
- Ozil’s staying even though we don’t want him
- Sell Aubameyang for a decent fee
- Sell Lacazette for a decent fee
- Replace Luiz, Mustafi AND Mari in the squad
- Figure out if Lucas wants to go back to Italy or not
- Find a replacement for Xhaka
- See if there’s anyone dumb enough to take Pepe off our hands
I’m not gonna sit here and say that signing all those players last summer wasn’t exciting. We wanted a winger, we got a winger. We needed a CB, we got a CB. We needed a midfielder, we got a midfielder. We needed a backup striker, we got a backup striker. The problem is the price point and the age profile of the players. The Pepe one really worries me. We whiffed so badly on this deal to the point where three different coaches have said he’s not good enough.
The only thing I can hope for at the moment is that Stan and Josh are concerned at the state of the LA Rams’ stadium running into so much financial trouble that they look to offload Arsenal.

It’s obvious now that Arteta can’t save this team anytime soon and that we’re missing European football for the first time in more than 20 years. Even finishing in the top half of the table now looks a stretch for this pile of overpaid poo.
The decline that started under Gazidis has simply accelerated under Raul even though he’s been blowing the Arsenal fan funded wad all over the place since his arrival.
I think it’s increasingly obvious to all other than the most near sighted that a couple of years of Raul at the helm for football matters has proven him to be a big fat dud.
My guess is the hopeless Kroenkes may give him another year given their continued blindness to the train wreck at the club since they took over and which has only got worse after Josh became more hands on. This continued employment on a seven figure package for Raul is obviously not well deserved but the countdown is running now on the P45 being issued.

Everything Gazidis touches turns to shit. He even managed to ruin one of the best managers the Prem has ever seen.
Our only real hope now is Josh Kroenke. Hope he see’s through these con men that have taken advantage of our lesser knowledgeable owners.

Our transfer business has been decent since the new regime took over. I don’t think in one fell swoop it goes to shit.
This covid shit has forced our hand a bit. Also I don’t think any of these deals get done without Arteta wanting it.
Think we need to be patient and stop assuming we’ve turned into the accountant for a drug cartel. Literally overnight everyone’s gone ape shit - probably boiled over from our two losses tbf.
Arteta hasn’t had one single transfer window yet, who knows how many we might offload. Need to try and maintain some perspective. I think we need to trust Edu and co as they haven’t really done anything that bad just yet. In fact most of their business has been fantastic.
