I’d still take this current lot of any Arsenal iteration of the 2010s.

Yes, the 2010 teams were very inconsistent with their football. I wouldn’t pair them with the 2000’s teams even the bottlers if we’re talking about entertaining football.
9 times out of 10, current Arsenal would blitz every team we had from 2010 to 2022.
Arsene’s 2016 team would be going gung-ho with zero shape while our current team cleans them off. Mustafi and Bellerin will be bumping into each other while Gabriel completes his hattrick of corner kick goals.
No doubt.
My stomach hurts while I watch some of those nice goals we scored in the 2010s, while were playing dogshit most of that time.

Good to see this being acknowledged more though.
Substituted players will now have 10 seconds to leave the pitch. If they take longer, the incoming player will have to wait one minute before entering.
Good change in theory.
But what if the player is injured?
They don’t need a rule change for this one. Just add whatever time it takes…

Yeah, an incredible journey.
I only didn’t like when they knocked out the Czech Republic that played the best football football on that tournament.
But that was some brilliant underdong story.
Karagounis, Katsuranis, Zagorakis, Basinas, Dellas, Charisteas… Clooney on goal. (Maybe I threw in someone from the wrong generation lol) Some players I still remember off the top my head. Something like Leicester’s title. You don’t forget these.
You can hate them but they have shown some of the best defending any country ever played on some international tournament. You just couldn’t break through them. Some classic Italy teams would have been proud of that.
