It’s probably based on European competition performances and we have been awful in Europe for years. We didn’t even make the final of the Europa more than once let alone win it in our Europa era ffs

Before money laundering, Chelsea were no bigger than spurs and barely bigger than West Ham so anyone comparing them to us really hasn’t got a clue about football.
It takes a lot more than buying success and have a plastic fanbase to become a big club.

That’s like saying Man City are bigger than almost every other club in the PL because they’ve bought more trophies.
As soon as the money launderers and Guardiola leave, we’ll see them, along with the Gallagher brothers and the few genuine supporters that have, back in the Championship where they belong.

Despite their success over the last 20 years, I don’t think they’ve ever been a “bigger club” than us.

What are the results saying?

Frankly my dear . . .

I can see why “AFC Ajax” would be sensitive to these kinds of debates, with AFC Ajax having previously been worthy of attention and now being smaller than AFC Bournemouth.
