@Cristo embracing his inner Englishman by the day.

I don’t think anybody could have predicted Bale’s meteoric and sudden rise though. The guy was a hack of a full back who they were actively considering shifting and then all of a sudden he bursts onto the scene as a top quality winger.

On the surface you’d go for Theo over Gareth any day of the week

Fuck I always forget this haha

Haha I get it though. It’s because I think he was actually born in France so it’s a pretty easy mistake to make.

He’s definitely a French-Ivorian and easily could have been a French international in another universe

I didn’t see Adams or Vieira on the list.
Messi wouldn’t get past either of them, in one piece.

Maldini for sure, he made tackling an art form.

Maldini wouldn’t even go to ground.

Ramos because I know whether it be clean or dirty, Messi is going down

Had the same thought. He’d happily take the red card. Maldini is definitely the better defender, but if the only aim is the stop Messi then I’m going for the shithouse

Ramos got bullied so many times by Messi.
Fucking nutcase, can’t keep his cool that guy.
Odds are, if that was late in the game while trailing, Ramos would go straight for Messi’s legs just because. He would then start creating a havoc by getting into everyone’s face.

Maldini it is for me.
