I dunno about Messi or Ronaldo level haha, but yeah, if he had tried harder he could have been even better and left a bigger legacy, he was an incredibly gifted player.
Side note, probably my favourite ever Football Manager player 
For several versions of that game the first thing I’d do would be to make sure I signed him from Ajax, and if for some reason that didn’t work out I would start a brand new game cos life without Sneijder just wasn’t worth a damn.

Obviously a great player BUT Henry did play far better being serviced by Bergkamp, Pires, Fabregas and Xavi. Zizi is better than Ozil but I think Henry is allowed to play his game with Ozil but isn’t with Zidane.
Not that Henry doesn’t score way more with Wenger as France Manager.
did anyone watch the England 1966 world cup win on tv today, they showed the full match on channel 4 which was pretty cool, I recorded it so I need to give it a watch, I’ve never actually seen any highlights from it tbh

I just watched it, or skipped through it I should say
It was weird trying to watch it in black and white and I just couldn’t be bothered, so skipped through it and just watched the tiny parts they showed in colour (the goals and celebrations) the little jumpy celebrations and air punch made me laugh, just imagine a Jesse Lingard cringe type of celebration from one of the players

It goes both ways tbh. Most of these guys probably cheat on their wives and a lot of girls they meet during their careers are golddiggers. They are made for each other.

Although, I think it’s fair to say that people that meet you and stick with you at your best may just abandon you at your worst.
And in reverse, people who stick with you at your worst may abandon you at your best.
