I absolutely understand that side of things and that’s why I think the palace lady could have easily chosen her words better or approached it differently.
But from that conversation excerpt, it does also seem like the charity lady is trying to create a bigger issue than there was too. She could easily say something like “I’m Birtish but my parents came here from x place”.
Like I said, the palace lady might just be trying to show some interest in her on a personal level.
If merely being interested in a person merits such a personal destruction, I don’t honk many people would to fond of having conversations with black people.
The fact you think it’s ok is part of the problem, these ideas are making blacks people look pathetic and fragile.
In the meantime, the individual concerned would like to express her profound apologies for the hurt caused and has stepped aside from her honorary role with immediate effect.
Wow she puts out a press release and it shows how she feels, you really don’t try understand human emotions beyond your own huh, how about you out yourself in her position, you’ve worked 60yrs to get that honour and it took you striking up a conversation with the wrong person, to lose all of that hard work.
