I absolutely understand that side of things and that’s why I think the palace lady could have easily chosen her words better or approached it differently.
But from that conversation excerpt, it does also seem like the charity lady is trying to create a bigger issue than there was too. She could easily say something like “I’m Birtish but my parents came here from x place”.
Like I said, the palace lady might just be trying to show some interest in her on a personal level.
Such a nonsense statement, her name and her reputation is irreparable damaged for the rest of her life, do you understand at least that part
