Premier League 2023/24

a few weeks ago in PL match day threads, folk around here think he’s shit lol.

Dunno but he’s got 7 of his 21 in the last 3 games n still almost half his goals are pens.

Hope he goes to shit next season

I think he’s been tad bit overrated myself but I haven’t seen anyone call him a Championship player.

Please link us to the quotes where someone said he is championship level lol

Palmer you selfish prick, already had a hat-trick and fighting teammates for penalties when 4-0 up.

Nah, Man United are a more serious club, so them being shit will always be better. Nobody cares about Chelsea.

I agree.
Chelsea are a mid table club with plastic supporters that had success bought for them by a rich owner.
But Man U are a genuine top European club with massive support, so seeing them struggling to get in the EL is a lot funnier.

That first Palmer goal kinda reminded me of Bergkamp.

You rarely see players nowadasys relying so much on intelligence and technique as he did on that goal.

Surely that’s a mistake, where’s Jesus

I mean palmer could’ve let someone else take the pen at that scoreline ffs, he ain’t beating Haaland to the golden boot anyway :joy:

5th CL spot for England in the Mud

You know, I’m feeling some sort of way about Leverkusen v West Ham.

I wonder if the celebrations take a toll on Leverkusen and West Ham surprise them.

He deffo won’t if he starts giving his pens to Madueke and Jackson

1 pen at 4-0 up when he already has a hattrick, you can give that to a teammate so they can score ffs

Haaland will bang 6 in the final game if needed, he ain’t getting beat by palmer

Personally, it’s a given that you let a teammate in contention for a golden boot take a penalty, regardless of whether they already have a hattrick in that game. Particularly if the player in question is your designated penalty taker who has a 100% record from the spot so far that season.

Palmer taking that penalty and scoring it potentially has some significance, Madueke or Jackson getting their fourth or eleventh goal of the season means very little, apart from to them and their ego.
