My biggest pet peeve with Klopp and Tuchel when he was still at Chelsea is that they never accepted anything on their part going wrong.
The schedule is shit, the ref didn’t do his job, we don’t have the depth, we can’t invest, etc.
At least with Pep and Arteta there are times where they come out and straight up take all the blame and congratulate the opponent.
That pitch on Thursday was the shits and Arteta didn’t even cheekily mention it. Even Ramsdale tried to rubbish it as an argument. The mentality is also passing over to your players.
The more you look for excuses, the more you start relying on them.
