You laugh at it but I honestly thought about them too. Honestly, beyond Arsenal and City I think it’s anyone’s game. I don’t see any other convincing side and I can imagine Ange managing to sneak Spurs into the Top 4 without European football to worry about this season.
I think Man Utd will struggle adapting to their new style. I think Newcastle will get a reality check now that they’re in the CL. Liverpool are rebuilding.
I was thinking perhaps Brighton or Villa but European football will fuck them up too.
Leaves it to Chelsea and Spurs, and I think Chelsea will manage to self-destruct again, leaving Spurs with a chance at claiming a Top 4 spot.
For me it’s conditional on Kane staying. If he does, I can imagine Son and Kulu finding their form back, Madders to be a game changer frok midfield and Kane to continue on his great form.
I wonder what @SRCJJ’s rational is behind picking them though.
