Did you watch the game last week? I was a bit pissed but I’d say at worst it was equal.
Have you seen who they’ve played so far? Have you seen how they’ve played so far against those teams?
People get too focused on the table, my only disappointment is their easy start has given them confidence in Slot from the off. That will help for sure.
We’ve been shit this season, yes, but we’ve also been so unlucky lately. Timber injured and the City machine grinding it last season when we were title worthy ourselves, and then injuries and poor officiating coinciding with poor performances this season when City could potentially be docked points. I don’t think the football gods want us to win the title for the next 1500 years. Just feels like the title race is pretty much over this season already.
Man City have Haaland upfront, we have Havertz, Jesus or Trossard.
The gulf in quality between their striker and any of ours is why we won’t win the title.
We should have bought a quality striker like Gyokeres in the last window rather than spending our budget on a GK and more defenders and to make it worse, Man U are more likely to get him.

With our lack of attacking options, Man City aren’t the only team we should be worried about.
Arteta should go all out to win the CL because there’s no way we’re winning the PL title.

We’ve shit the bed in the last two games.
The City result got us out of jail a bit. If we were seven points behind them rather than Liverpool I’d say we were fully out of it.
Liverpool will drop points, but still, seven points is a long way to be behind.

I know what you mean but if we can’t sort our shit out, it won’t matter cause we are struggling at the moment. We’ve lost our mojo, in all facets of the game. How does that happen? Mikel needs to find some answers. This can’t just because of Ode being injured.

Where we’re at come January will paint a better picture of things.
No team has really convinced so far this season.
You see Liverpool’s results the past 8 games, they’ve barely won their games and drew against our makeshift backline.
They’re definitely flirting with dropping points and unlike us and City, they’ve been the luckiest when it comes to injuries and absentees.
They’ve got some tricky fixtures still left this year and eventually they will run into injury issues of their own. We’ll see how well they handle those. In previous seasons it did affect them eventually.
City is still the main worry. Big “get out of jail” card for us today. An 8 point gap over us would’ve made things very, very difficult.
Hopefully Bournemouth and Spurs have given an inspiration to others on how to beat these guys.
Their next 7 PL games are not easy.
They play Brighton, Spurs, Liverpool, Forest, Palace, Man Utd and Villa.
Hence why I said “a bit”
I think we’re up against it and I personally don’t think we’ll win the league this season.
If we can win against Chelsea, all is good.

We beat Tottenham without Rice & Odegaard. Chelsea’s defence is extremely poor.
We’ve snapped our hamstring. Still on the track - not in the race.
