PL Title Race 24/25

I see a lot of analysis from fans of both clubs as we’re approaching the wire in a few weeks. But football is so hard to determine what’s gonna happen; you just never know.

One thing is clear to me however, we need to beat Fulham and Liverpool; Liverpool keep escaping at Anfield whenever we play them - we need a win there. And Fulham have become a bottleneck for us too… a bit of a voodoo with them cunts.

Context is key. We’ve taken a lot of tough away games by that point.

Our run in the PL since Forest in November has actually been really good.

If we weren’t pricks against Villa and weren’t screwed at Brighton we would’ve been even higher.

Has Moyes moved there today?

Far easier said than done, but if we win our next 5 , I’m confident that we’d be within 3 points of Liverpool with an Anfield trip still to come.

I’m always one loss from throwing in the towel, but for the 4th time this season (after giving up three times), I believe that we have a chance.

If we can get Martinelli and Saka back early to mid-march, I’ll bloody well believe.

New scapegoat dropped, Wenger’s praying.

And people on this forum hate this guy

If a company paid me over 100m pounds in my time there, I’d probably wish them the best as well!

I don’t hate Wenger, but it is difficult to shake off the residue from his last 5 years here.

Wenger is correct through, Liverpool losing three in thirteen seems highly unlikely. 2 losses and two draws is plausible and we have to inflict one of the losses on them.

They don’t have to lose a singe game ffs… Wenger’s statements in the last decade make as much sense and are just as useful as a regular tarot reader…

NEWSFLASH Arsene: they are losing points with the draws too!

Tbf in video he seems happy we are in a tough position. Doesn’t seem too eager for us to win the league.

Absolutely absurd take that is.

Some people just want to hate for the sake of hating.
Man hasn’t said a bad word about the club since he’s was removed.

At least the first part od my post absolutely stands.
His take about them having to lose games is absolute BS.

His maths are blinded by his wish for Arteta to fail
:ooo:

Want a bet that Arsenal can win the title with Liverpool ending on 1 loss? @Pires

That’s what I’m saying too ffs

Let’s see where things stand at the end of next weekend. Even two draws would give us the chance to cut it to just a 3 point gap.

They still have to go away to City, Villa, Fulham, Brighton and Chelsea.

Exactly, I’ll take the opposite. No chance imo we win without them losing another game.

We’ll probably need another loss too, but they absolutely don’t have to lose THREE matches.

One additional loss would be fine.

I definitely wouldn’t bet on them not winning the league withouth a single loss in the remaining games (although that’s mathematically very possible).

Then leave daddy wenger alone

Tbh Wenger still wrong though

Nahh, his take about the 3 losses is still horrible.

It’s as bad as some deep twitter bullshit, but coming from an experienced football person, who is accidentally a graduated economist too, makes things even worse.

I don’t see why, the probability of them drawing 4/5 isn’t much different to them losing 2/3. It’s quite clear he’s just meaning it’s a big gap to claw back.

They’ve drawn 6 and lost 1 in 25. We need them to either draw 4 in 13 or lose 3 in 13 or a combination of both. Assuming we go perfect at the same time.

I’d be more than happy to bet on the fact we won’t win the title without at least 2 more losses from Liverpool, so I don’t see him far wrong.

I thought you were obviously joking here but then I remembered thinking you were also joking when you said Palmer and Foden were considerably better than Saka, to then find you were serious about it.
So, are you joking or are you serious about Wenger not being eager for us to win the league?
