Please we can’t have these ending our title run.

serious, dude?

CFL??

Sure. It’s a cosy, local, parochial thing. You need to live in a CFL city.

Man Antony is such a prick

Fair play to Maguire for being a normal person and shaking the hand instead kf being a petulant asshole like Antony is

Antony is massively tone-deaf.
surrendering a 3 goal lead and having to rely on opponent to miss penalties doesn’t qualify you to make that gesture.

I hope he never amounts to anything.

Antony is the personification of Brazil’s failures for the last 20 years and the next 20.

They went from ballers like Ronaldo N, Ronaldinho, Cafu to primadonnas like Neymar, Antony and Richarlison in just 1 generation

They get a sniff of financial success and don’t remember where they came from… the hunger to succeed seems absent from this generation.

Neymar does a lot of charity for development back in Brazil, I think he knows exactly where he came from.

Doesn’t mean he’s not a money grabbing diving wanker but I don’t think it’s any different in that respect, Brazilians love football but a big part of it is to make better lives for their families, that’s always been the case.

It’s not exclusive to Brazilians that money is now the biggest part of the game, more so than playing. Look at Mbappe and the 50 players who went to Saudi.

The quality drop off in the Brazil NT is certainly huge but I’m not sure money is the reason. The fact Antony and richarlison get a sniff is just down to a lack of quality across the board.

Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho etc all ended up playing for the richest clubs in their time. They were just built different. (And bit of Football Culture being Pre Social Media helps too with fan preception).

Not just Brazil, overall the technical skills of players were dropped significantly in the past 10 years.

I disagree. Flair & Individuality has decreased but not the technical skills.

The flair is simply for display and no actual usage if not able to get you goals and wins.

Look at Antony.

I am referring to the way the likes of Ozil, Suarez, Messi, Falcao, Dani Alves, Marcelo; who did the same thing as regular efficient players but with style.

Sorry to bring this thread off topic but I think if we win every game we win it.

City will draw on Thursday

Hopefully Liverpool slip again tomorrow. Feel like they are out of it and yet they are level with us on points. Up the fucking Toffees.

Yes they will.

We have every chance.

But Tottenham and United still are potentials for us, every chance we will also.

Man City might have a couple of games in hand but the pressure is on Man City because we’ve got the points and have a massive twelve better goal difference .

Points on the board is all that matters. Games in hand is BS; we had games in hand previously and capitulated, hard. Hope it’s City’s turn next.

3 points this weekend as well please!

The more our rivals drop (please fuck up), the more we can afford another bad result.

Spurs / Man Utd are pure banana skin games for us… you don’t know what you’re gonna get with those lot.

If we win every game remaining I’m confident we’re winning it.

I personally doubt we win them all.

However, I think there’s a scenario where we draw one and still have a chance at winning it.

Four tricky away games left for a City team that looks gassed. One of those games being against a team in stadium that they’ve never even scored in the PL.

Ange’s not the type of dude to take it easy on them either because of our rivalry.

Looking closely at City and Liverpool over the next two days.
