Our defence and keeper was far too weak, the talent up front couldnât make up for them unfortunately.
Our midfield apart from Fabregas was too weak, and we never got the tough midfield partner for Fabregas that he needed.
So no we donât win the CL/PL with them.

I never liked Song lol. Always thought he abandoned any semblance of defensive responsibility in his pursuit of offensive contribution. On paper his numbers were good but on pitch you couldnât see the glaring hole in our midfield.

Tbf, just to prove he wasnât a one trick pony, there was a carbon copy of that goal at Anfield in the same season.

He was very good that season, but once again was another player who made the wrong move to Barcelona.
His inefficiencies really showed up there and he never got near the level in 11/12 ever again.

Probably so but his importance to us as a midfielder highlights how weak we were back then. He couldnât do both so if Wenger wanted him to move the ball into dangerous areas in an advanced role he needed to get an adequate midfielder to cover the defensive duties.
