Never want to see him play on the right again. He is just wasted there. He was very disciplined against Olypiakos but he would get more goals playing upfront instead of Laca. I know Laca got the winning goal but Auba is just wasted on the right. He is basically another Willock in that position.

I really don’t mind playing him on the left and don’t get why people have such an issue with it, he scored just as much from out wide as from central probably why Auba hasn’t complained about it or kicked up a fuss.

His general play on the left is quite poor imo.
He can get goals but we’d be better off functional wise with someone who can play with his back to goal and link up with the midfield better

The frustration stems probably more from the fact that Lacazette was played there and didn’t score. If Nketiah keeps scoring the noise about Auba on the left will fade.

I think what is annoying to ppl is that Auba should be the focal point of our attack, instead he’s pushed out wide to make room for Laca who shouldn’t even be in the team. Auba is less effective on the left and I think what we’d like to see is a legit left winger like Saka playing over there with Auba through the middle. Although you make a good point about the goals scored it hasn’t stopped him from scoring, I just think he’d do more if the attack was built around him.

I can see why people get annoyed at Laca but sometimes you have to adjust the team to make the most of what you have and Auba on the left works
