Besides it just being a rumour and I would personally like it if Giroud stayed, regardless it would make sense from many points of view if he left, among other things we presumably signed two high profile strikers for £100m+ within half a year, one of them is a competitor for his pos. in their NT as well, we have limited funds (contrary to popular belief) so wage bill management is a thing for us, he is 31 so needs to be first choice and at the same time is not a long term solution for us etc.
If Giroud stay, that means we can play Laca and Auba together…
