There is nothing wrong for driving a hard bargin and getting the best price for a player. I pleased we have done that in the past rather than paying over the odds for average players like Liverpool and Spurs have done historically. BUT there is a point where the deal just needs to get done.

The thing drives me insane is that we go after these deals and all the while in the background nothing else is happening. Which is due to the fact that we only pursue these deals when the player is unsettled or their clubs don’t really need them and their baggage any longer. If PEA weren’t apparently unsettled we wouldn’t be doing anything.
