I only play online (divisions or against my mates), the 2020 is without a doubt the worst edition i’ve ever played, the game just goes crazy when we’re playing.
it’s really a shame as stated before, the game is about football, the basis for this kind of games has been laid out a long time ago, and this looks like some kind of a fucking beta version.
People (including me) still refer to PES6 as the best online experience for PES. Came out 14 years ago lol.

Completed my second season as AS Monaco manager. Won the league, 6 pts clear of PSG. Did the double over them. They had their revenge by beating me 3-0 in the cup final, but I won it the year before so didn’t really care. League was always the #1 priority and I did it!
Champions League campaign was a disappointment, topped a group with Man City and Real Madrid only to be knocked out by Napoli in the first knockout round ffs.
Happy with my second season, but I wanted to change my formation and start playing with two strikers. Which meant I needed to sign a forward or two. That’s exactly what I did! I sent my scouts to look for top tier talent, turns out Gabriel Jesus was unsettled at Man City and I picked him up for €50,000,000, fucking bargain for an 89 player. I also secured a 34-year old Luis Saurez on a season loan, also 89. So my team now looks like this:
It’s a very direct 4-4-2 (or 4-2-2-2), my wingers are still a crucial part just no longer inside forwards, they have some defending to do now! A deeper role for Savic, which seems to suit him better, less running around. Tactic settings:
Made a sensational start to the season, scoring lots of goals and barely conceding. Gabriel Jesus is a monster, scores every game and already has his first hattrick. If he ever becomes available in your save, don’t hesitate!

I just finished my 4th season with Arsenal. Won the FA Cup and CL. Lost the league to City by 3 points.
Started 5th season and ramped difficulty back to Legend. I won the UEFA Super Cup 2-1 vs Chelsea.
First 3 league games have been bad, three draws no wins. My jobs on the line apparently. Legend is such a bastard difficulty. 
I’m considering going Legend. Is it at all enjoyable though? If it’s even more AI cowardness and all deflections going their way I’m gonna pass.
Its less cowardice. Even while they are set to defensive they still attack, I just I feel some of the goals they score are undefendable.
But when you score it actually is very rewarding. It forces you to respect possession much more. Its not impossible, but its fucking challenging.
Changed to a 433 to try and combat this AI. I usually hate playing 4 atb as the two CB’s get isolated.
However, after the bad start I mentioned above, I won my next two games both 2-1 against Everton and Athletico Madrid. Both tight games with even stats, and both times they started defensive.
Trouble is as I’ve never played fullbacks on this save, I’ve not got any so have had to stick Saka at LB and a regen Young at RB. When they are tired I have to put midfielders there for now lol, till the Jan window.

My Arsenal save is with the latest Data Pack, started it about 5/6 weeks ago.
Massive development if he starts out in lower 80 and is 89 after two seasons. He’s still at Dortmund, no chance of signing him as they want 200m lol.
Must be some kind of bug.
Have you guys tried this? Highly effective, I score about one every three corners now.
It’s horribly outdated and riddled with some dumb issues, but I always come back for the gameplay.
