Pep Guardiola

That Real Madrid team was stacked AF… ( prime Ozil assisting prime C-ron) They would put the current Mancity squad to the sword as well.

Nah that Barca team is the best team to ever walk the earth in my humble opinion. You couldn’t get the ball of them or even get close. It was ridiculous. Prime Messi was unplayable and then you had the rest of the team… Xavi and Iniesta in the midfield. Anybody remember Iniesta? That team was a cheat code on Steroids. Not even close.

Pep is just being diplomatic.

They lost that one!

They deserved to lose that one.

Sergio Biscuits, the cheating little bastard toerag.

:large_blue_circle: Pep Guardiola: “Chelsea, exceptional in all departments”.

“One of the tough games you have until the end of the season”.

“They have everything: intense, quality, able to not lose the ball. Difficult to find a Chelsea player who loses the ball”.

Sounds like Chelsea is on top of the table and favorite to win the CL this season.

was he holding back laughter with tears when he said this?

It’s he talking about this Chelsea side, or the one that dominated the late 00s?

Only Pep gets away with this. The media vultures would eat Arteta alive if he said this.

Just like Ferguson and Mourinho, he gets away with saying anything because the media are a bunch of cowards, as well as sycophants.

He might be a good manager but having two world class players for every position and limitless spending makes his job a lot easier.

We all know why Guardiola and the players went to Man City, and it wasn’t because of the light blue shirts and the seasons spent drifting around in the lower leagues.

what was the context of that question?

Probably be back to back trebles

Along with 4 consecutive titles

Pep > Fergie if that happens ?

The competition is worse now though.

There is no parity. Sheikh clubs have ruined it all

Ferguson will always have the nod over Guardiola, or any other coach, for the simple fact that he build that club to greatness and the longevity of the success he maintained. The last title before Ferguson was won by Busby I think. He’s untouchable as G.O.A.T. manager.

Ferguson outspent every manager in the PL and bought all the best players, often breaking the transfer record in almost every window.
It’s a myth that he built teams from youth players and all his best players were massive signings.

In Europe the competition is worse I agree.

In the league I don’t know, these Arsenal and Liverpool sides are very strong.

Pep is more dominant but I prefer Ferguson’s legacy easily. It’s feels more in the spirit of football. Guy takes over a struggling big club, barely survives the sack and creates a dynasty spanning 3 decades starting with ending a 26 Year waiting for the title.

Then there’s the part that City is a tainted club with the cheating.

Ferguson was given five seasons and massive spending until he eventually won the PL title.
Graham and Wenger took over us and both won the League title quicker and with far less investment.

You don’t see the romance in a repressive authoritarian regime picking a random club and investing money using a series of both legitimate and less legitimate means to assemble a super team filled with international superstars in an attempt to sanitize its reputation among Western media?

Pep has never had to turn it around. He’s the managerial equivalent of being born with a silver spoon up his ass.
