Numbers aren’t special and he already had a knee injury causing him to miss 31 games, will end up a perma crock here.

Yeah, that injury he had is a major concern… I have no clue about the guy (but I want him!!) but I’ve read about that injury and how some are saying he still hasn’t managed to get back to his pre injury level.
If that’s true that’s a HUGE question mark over him.
Now I’m not sure I want him anymore…

Well, technically he also pocketed 10m himself which is nice for him.
Mendes is a devil I want us to get in bed with.
Ronaldo has elevated Portugal into one of the best football countries. They keep on producing baller after baller. A good relationship with Mendes is essential to acquire such players.

I find it hard to not give a shit about the big fees and trying to get value for money, so I don’t mind us taking a chance on a player who has always looked pretty lively against us, I just hope it’s not some ridiculous fee that Wolves want because right now his numbers don’t back up a 50m+ fee.
Would certainly rather Neto than nothing though.

But there’s no doubt we’re taking a gamble here. He had a nasty knee injury and had to miss almost a year of football. Some players get back, some don’t.
Yeah, as you said earlier, Edu/Arteta transfer record is the biggest reason I’m positive about this guy, and I can only hope they know what they’re doing in this case too.
