If youāre willing to pay 50m for Anthony Gordon, paying the same for Neto seems kind of like a no brainer.
Gotta hope Edu has put in some serious eork on the player so Neto prioritizes us.

But fingers crossed we get a free run, because even if the player would join us the transfer fee would just balloon to fast for us to compete.
Really, really like Neto but weāre buying potential again.
Seems like a change in strategy as previously we were buying a ready made forward in Raphinha.
Netoās output isnāt great but he did spend a long time out injured last season. Iām in two minds as I was hoping for a slightly more experienced player.
We definitely need the depth, so if itās Neto or nothing I can definitely live with that so long as we donāt get rinsed on the transfer fee.

I would loveeee Neto
5 goals and 6 assists in 20-21 was pretty good considering he was 20 and also paying the Nuno tax. Last year was a write off after the injury.
All depends on how he is recovering from the injury IMO.
Not sure how we integrate him to our style of play now the season started.
Not sure how good he is without the ball. Interesting one though and if interested you know the manager knows what he can give.

The Tielemans thing bubbling in the background just feels like it might happen too. Would be an immense summer if we capped it off like this.

Wolves preparing for Netoās departure?
Iām not overly fussed if we donāt sign anyone else, but I do like this guy.
I think 35 million is a bit of a low ball offer and weāll definitely end up paying closer to what Wolves want than we will closer to what we want to pay if we get him.
