I see nothing that demonstrates why he is being favoured over Saliba, looks like an average Joe if that.
This game shows experience isn’t all its cracked up to be.

He is pretty shit but we paid almost nothing for him. If Arteta really wants to play a left footed CB and he is our backup at the position, then its not great but not the end of the world.
The bigger question is why we have six right footed CBs, five of them are either shit or are squad players with very limited potential, and one of them is a top prospect who never plays.

He only played because Gabriel was out and didn’t even play in the City game either. Such a pointless signing. ‘Left sided cb’ my arse.
Why is everyone so down on him? Was assured and good in the air. The penalty was bad but he doesn’t look terrible to me.
