I think the toughest match will be Fulham away. These matches coming right off the international break are never easy and they have a squad in which there is a smattering of internationals but most of the players will just be at Craven Cottage resting, training, and preparing for the match all break.
I think weāll go 15/15 in the next 5 fixtures.
If I were worried about being a cocky English, as our boy Luca might say, Iād say 13 points after drawing at Fulham.
But I think weāre gonna clean up in the next 5 league fixtures. Letās see what Liverpool are saying.
Football is crazy because just a week ago because Arteta was getting criticized after the City game and there was doubt going into that weekend while Liverpool had all the momentum in the world.
Fast-forward a week, roles are reversed.
Personally, I do feel the team has been improving each week. The boys are getting sharper and their cohesion is building, weāre also continuously seeing the fruits of our improved depth.
Hope Iām not jinxing the game tomorrow but Iām gutted weāre gonna have to take a break because it feels like things are clicking together and these international breaks havenāt been kind to us.
Its average 88 difficulty. Presumably out of 100 despite it not saying.
Really just goes to show how fucking difficult this league is.
Absolutely. Did some digging and hereās what I found.
Latest Power Rankings:
- Arsenal are #1
- See how many premier league teams make up the top 50
- 5 lowest ranked teams are West Ham (46), Leeds (49), Wolves (51), Sunderland (56), Burnley (61)

Fulham(A) was always gonna be tough and I believe its the toughest game in PL till visit to Chelsea next month
6/6 from this āeasyā run so far. Palace at home will also be tough. Sunderland are gonna be tough up there, we will likely need Dowman to provide us a winner there.
They havenāt lost at home yet I think

Thatās because they havenāt had to deal with Max Dowman at home yet.
Why? They are shit at home.
I wrote that before I even checked. But yep, they are just shit all over, but 15th on home table.
We are the ones at home. This is why I didnāt write āPalace awayā. And the reason I think itāll be a tough game is because they play a back 5, look to hit on the counter and they have only lost once this season.
Your reason is seemingly that they are at home, which they arenāt lol
One game at a time. Weāll be playing every 3-4 days for the next 3 weeks. That will definitely take a toll on us.
Us the fans for sure!
Which is great cos that last international break was hellish.
I am a bit worried about certain players looking a bit fatigued.
Timber looked roughed against Fulham, Rice also looked very leggy in the end. Donāt think Gyokeres can maintain playing in the way he does for nearly 90 minutes every game.
Honestly, Iāll be pleasantly surprised if we win our next 6 games.
Iād like to see some significant rotation against Atleti.
Weāve been rotating a lot more this year but Iām not sure Arteta is ready to do it in the CL against a good opponent.
IMO, the two CL matches might be the least important ones we play before the next international break. I donāt want to go out of the league cup and any dropped points in the league are a problem. Whereas we can drop points in one of these two CL matches and its really not an issue, weāll still be in great shape to finish in the top eight.
Think Arteta will prioritize league and CL. Heavy rotation for the cup game instead
You might be right but I hope not. Brighton could go full strength there and we need to win shit badly enough that I donāt want to go out of any competition.
Sure, I get it and agree, but thatās the place to rotate. Think itās too early to give up a CL game.
I do think that the depth is good enough to beat Brighton and keep some players fresh.
