It’s true Everton have wasted money and over spent on average players but a lot of clubs, including us, aren’t much better.
But what they have done is go out and get the best manager available to them, who is a respected, top level manager, that has had success in nearly all the top leagues in Europe.
I expect them to be challenging for a top six place with Ancelotti, rather than the bottom half of the season they’ve just had.
We are and have been throughout the last average decade consistently better than Everton. Even with the new manager they fell behind Burnley last season. Not the first time they’ve done that either.
Wolves and Leicester are better run and performers than them.
I think Leicester will do well again because Rodgers is a top manager but, if Everton can get a striker, I think they’ll do a lot better than last season because of Ancelotti.
So weird to think football starts again next week. Not a big fan of pre season football but it seems strange getting ready for fixtures without it.
Feels like eveyones talking transfers and this has just crept up.
