You can tell they’re getting desperate. Lost out on Sancho, Gabriel and now hopelessly attempting to steal Thiago from Liverpool.
Yet none of those players play for Man U currently. Strange brag lol.
Please let there be a high sell-on clause
I think we already used that.
Doesn’t there remain a percentage for any transfer he makes after leaving?
I don’t see why they would need Thiago when you have Pogba anyway. Van de Beek can be a decent subsitute for Pogba/Fernandes, but to pay €40 million for that. So needless.
They got great runners but now they need someone to pick them out.
Pogba is a great passer but would he want to play that deep?
The signing itself doesnt make sense unless they go full on attacking, but then i thought to myself if they play 5 at the back, then the duo of Beek/Pogba behind fernandes with Martial/Rashford ahead could work quite well. Their shit defence would be protected and their forward 5 are incredible. Wan Bissaka would be a solid cb in that formation with a more attacking right back.
Whatever they do, all the talent they have is wasted on Ole unless he makes them consistent and sexy this season.
Proper idiot.
They’ve only signed one of those players :ozil:
I mean if they get Allan, James Rodriguez and Doucouré and jam Gomes in there somehow that’s a pretty neat midfield to be honest lol
Ancelotti or not, you should be able to improve on a disappointing 12th pos. league finish with that midfield and Richarlison imo?
They wont though because there like the southern brothers West Ham. They don’t do expectation and being in Liverpool shadow screws them up.
Man there is so many teams after European places now this season is gonna be nuts
West Ham and Everton have great teams on paper.
Massive chokers though.
Both badly run clubs.
What do you think it’s the issue? I don’t think they’re signing bad players. Overpaying at times but still. They’ve had questionable managers though.
Honestly think it’s about the length of time since they won anything. Both always get bigged up as being the dark horse and die.
They both think of themselves bigger than what they are.
Wolves and Leicester have come through now and are better run clubs now and made it a struggle for them, that there at a loss of were they actually belong.
Both have issues with parochial outlooks too that the fans accercabate. People’s club and West Ham way. It’s not relevant to premier League and not a selling point to the international audience.
Juventus and free transfer shocker
