Jose Mourinho wants to sign Wolves’ versatile full-back Matt Doherty for Tottenham .
The 28-year-old Rep of Ireland international made 50 appearances for the Midlands club last season and has enhanced his reputation as a reliable defender and a significant threat going forward.
Reports (in football.london) suggest the defender could cost Spurs around £12m – although we believe no bid has been made.
12m? He’s one of their better players on a three year contact in his prime, surely not?
