I like Fellaini, but that was 5-6 seasons ago. Heâs getting older and I canât see what he brings to the table. A good header yes, but heâs 30 now and will probably want a 3 years deal. That money can be spent on better targets.
Doucoure again. I posted above how I would like to see him here but Nzonzi is another one who we could benefit greatly from as well.

Iâm all for a âdestroyerâ-type. It doesnât have the preference for most people on this site, but I think with Emery at the helm we will be more of an counter attacking team and the ability on the ball for midfielders will be less important.
I donât immediately think it will happen though. It all seems like vague rumours and a summary article like the Guardian one seems like a good example of that. That was my point

Yeah I can see that (it is rumour mill time though eh!).
I totally agree though re the playing style. We are in for a complete culture shock with the new gaffer though. Quick counter attacking, high pressing and high energy football that does not revolve around possession as it did before.
I would be happy with Nzonzi as well as he is another âdestroyerâ type player but Doucoure would be my choice as he is settled in London and has the PL experience of the last few seasons so would fit in immediatelyâŠ
Clearly, Emery would like the latter.

Rather just let the regime sign whoever they want tbh and judge after the results. They havenât managed a single competitive game yet and weâre already out with the obituarys. End of the day itâs their plans and their team. As much as us fans like to think we know shit we donât have to deal with the consequences of being wrong. Weâd do well to remember our place sometimes.
