I know a few West Ham supporters and they often go on about players they are “trying” to get but never do.

The difference is though, the players we miss out on are often obtainable. West Ham often aim well above their station.

To be fair, most decent players are unobtainable for West Ham.
The players we miss out on are obtainable if we had really wanted them, and tried a bit harder.
Remember what Wenger and Gazidis said, “we can afford any player” and “we are not afraid to spend.”
It is frustrating, but I wonder how much is really down to us being unique vs. fans following their teams’ every bit of news and rumor much more closely… it absolutely seems to me that we dither and nickel and dime and miss out frequently, but maybe that is par for the course other than for the super-rich who can overpay at whim?

Also think Liverpool need a striker too because as good as Firmino is you saw how one dimensional Liverpool were when Salah went off.

Like I said in the other thread when Arsenal wouldn’t make high profile signings I also kind of meant that I don’t expect us to make signings for the first eleven like this guy. Simply because I think Xhaka will get another shot and they seem to loooooove Ramsey at the club.

he actually (seen a few vids from him a while back) looks very good, surprised no one has really looked at him for a midfield option, i would be quite pleased with this signing if it happened and hope he lives up to his videos.
We should get Fernandinho from City, then ;). He is a top player, probably their most important one.
