Brazil lose every promising talent that reaches 18. Those clubs have no chance.
Respectfully, what the Saudis are doing is unprecedented. China, MLS, Russia, Qatar, Greece, Turkey or whoever else never signed the amount of talent Saudis in a single window like they have.
The current Ballon DâOr holder plays in Saudi.
So far theyâve signed Mahrez, ASM, Kessie, Firmino, Mendy, Ibanez, Fabinho, Jota, Benzema, Kante, Mane, Fofana, Brozovic, Telles, Malcom, Neves, SMS, Veratti, Koulibaly, Henderson, Dembele and theyâre still not done.
It doesnât really matter.
La Liga had Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez, Neymar, Modric, Iniesta, Benzema playing week in week out and La Liga still couldnât get decent viewership.
Saudis can buy as many players as they want. It will take a lot for that league to be popular.
Lack of CL will also impact.
And how long will they keep spending like that when viewership doesnât rise cos nobody gives a fuck about brozovic vs Jordan henderson in the desert?
Thatâs my point, unless the Saudi government wana keep sinking money into the league then this madness wonât last. They have to create a sustainable product at some point and I canât see it.
no doubt the unnamed English club is Chelsea
EDIT: Neymar wants to leave. Barcelona linked quite heavily with him today

Cunt. Wasted his massive talent.
Exactly, itâs just Mickey Mouse clubs, buying mercenary players in a league that will never be considered anything more than a novelty.
We all know why top players go there, and itâs certainly not because they grew up with pictures of Saudi league players on their wall.
But it doesnât matter how famous the player is, they come and go, but clubs are constant and a name like Real Madrid will always be bigger than a name like Mbappe.
Wasted Barcelona as well. That 200m transfer fucked Barcelona big time.
Fucking Moyes bailing out United here. This sucks if they sell Maguire and buy somebody good who can actually play ETHâs football.

I love Varane but there is an argument to be made that Maguire is a better fit for a more progressive style.
I think they are losing a very good player but the biggest relief for them is taking him off their wage bill and investing in a more suitable backup.
Casemiro is also another one thatâs not particularly suited to a more progressive style either.
Theyâre still going to run into the same wall. They may be able to poach some prime age players from places like Italy or France because of wages but the vast majority of talent will still move within Europe and most likely to places like England or the big two in Spain.
Saudi teams will end up looking like MLS 2.0 teams, two to three big names and a bunch of scrubs.
What is this nonsense about them not being suited to progressive football?
You donât need to have 11 players with otherworldly technical quality. Casemiro isnât a problem, the shit midfield around him is. Varane, as much as I think heâs mistake prone, is so much better than Maguire itâs not even a joke.
And what is this âprogressive styleâ youâre even talking about?
Football has become a ridiculous talking point now. People are naming successful players who have proven themselves to be world class and quality at the highest level and saying theyâre not suited to âprogressiveâ football.
Losing donkey Maguire who is one the worst signings in football history is good business for United. Doesnât have the mentality, consistency or quality to deal with playing at this level. Whereas Varane and Casemiro can cope with pressure at any level. Seems pretty progressive to me.
Itâs very simple.
Varane and Casemiro have pretty much been built on counter attacking football, and to the absolute elite level at that.
Getting them to play with a high line now will be a struggle. Youâre not playing to their strengths and have to cover for their deficiencies.
Maguire would be pretty good for haramstyle Moyes tactics. It sucks to see Yanited getting out of jail with this disaster of a transfer, but it makes sense for West Ham to go for him. 30m is too much tho.
Moyes is getting sacked before Christmas anyway.
They made a good deal for Edson Alvarez, securing him for around ÂŁ35m. Theyâre getting rinsed on Maguire though.
If they pay another ÂŁ30m then theyâre really morons.
Casemiro is a quality player but his ability on the ball is suspect IMO and for that reason I think that midfield just ainât it when it comes to challenging for the league.
ten Hag has made some questionable decisions in regard to squad building and I donât see their football being much improved especially in the middle of the park
I think Varane and Casemiro will try to make the most of it but if they persist with it then I see them looking at a new CB and DM next.
There is a good chance they silently address it this window with Todibo and Amrabat who on the face of it may look like squad depth players but long-term are coming in to phase out Varane and Casemiro.
Is that you, Gareth?
I swear you take the piss with some of your takes
I donât think heâs an elite defender, nor a great one. He is a good player though that got massively overhyped after success to Virgil at Liverpool.
He was never gonna match the expectations set.
