Why would he go there when heād make infinitely more money in the middle east. Very few MLS teams have the capacity to pay big salaries and the whole league has shifted from the āretirement leagueā model to more of a selling model. There are still some clubs making plays for aging stars like Torontoās insane contract for Insigne which looked bad at the time and looks worse now. But overall thereās been way more investment in Central and South American youngsters.
