Olivier Giroud

He’s a competent striker who’s had the luxury of playing alongside world class players that make him look better than he is.

I know he started late in a relative sense, my only issue was the claim he turned pro in his mid-20s, which Cristo has now corrected anyway.

@Cristo sort it out mate

Yep my bad for the fake news

What a fucking career. I’ve said it before. But with that Serie A title, France ever topscorer and potentially winning another world cup this is getting insane.

No talent, all luck apparently, according to twats like Souness

The luck is the fact he was even there in the first place. Pretty unusual to have a more talented striker banned from the NT due to blackmail. He was stinking it up at Arsenal and we bought Aubameyang which necessitated shifting Giroud out. He got to take a ride to an EL and CL title. He got dumped to Milan and got to ride Leao’s coattails to a Serie A title. Yeah there’s definitely an element of luck involved. Timing is everything in life.

I’ll always hate him because of the Monaco match and the Leicester season but to say he’s talentless is unfair. He scores great goals.

I hate when so many Arsenal fans are sucking his cock. Stinking it up for 6 years at our club and ending it with ridiculing the club on social media to stick it in our face after the EL Final. Van Persie was a scumbag too, but 10 times the talent. I at least rate that guys ability. Not this fridge.

They’re both cunts.

Van Persie was a baller. A joy to watch on the pitch. Not a white Lukaku without pace.

It’s insane to assert “luck” when he’s just become the Country’s international top scorer lol. An element of skill and ability is required to step up and perform regardless of the circumstances players, teams or coaches encounter

No one ever really talks “luck” about any other successful players or teams in a negative context. Its so silly when you view it on those terms

Just let the bitterness go, I’ll never understand the desperation of the haters to caveat his legit hard earned accomplishments and contributions to successful sides rather than give deserved props

everytime Giroud achieves something else it’s always “luck”, no one is that lucky so it has to be some talent as well

Those energy levels are mental for a 36 year old.

  1. Olivier Giroud - 52 goals in 117 games
  2. Thierry Henry - 51 goals in 123 games.

So he did it in less games too than King Thierry

Giroud > Messi&Ronaldo&Mbappe

Late fucking boomer, this guy.

bloomer you mean haha

Ah yes, he blooms things

Ronaldo, Messi, Benzema and the rest should take notes from the king.

I assume a lot of it comes down to his late start tbf. But still, it’s insane to see a guy nearing this 40s show so athletically fit.
