Didnā€™t expect both would be peripheral figures so quickly. Combination of us raising our levels since signing them and both being unreliable fitness wise.

Football can change quickly

They were very good bridge signings and I think that was always likely to be the case because they were flawed players to begin with but yeah theyā€™ve dropped off a big deal in terms of general level for one reason or another, both should be let go at end of the season IMO

Jesus is worse, I think he became the player City hoped we were going to get.

Zinchenko while better than what we had before him was error prone from the beginning just got upgraded on quickly, nature of the game.

I donā€™t see why Zinchenko canā€™t be used in the midfield. I could easily imagine him and Calafiori rotating positions quite well, especially in games where we need to open up defences.
