Not been a fan of Zinchenko since the initial gloss of his signing wore off. I am never comfortable with him at the back but Mikel seems to think he offers enough going forward to make up for his defensive inefficiencies.
For me, the more we play him, the lesser our chances of finishing the season strong. There are just a few games left, play Tomi or Kiwior, based on the opposition. Even if we struggle up top, we can at least be reasonably sure we won’t concede.
The Athletic reiterating we’re targeting a left back in the summer.
