Oleksandr Zinchenko (17)

Andre Santos was one of the pioneers of BBQ at Arsenal.
He took it a level above Edu because he brought his BBQ mentality on the field.

Actually Mikel that makes perf…yeah, nevermind. :white:

On Alex Zinchenko’s fitness…
Alex we don’t know because he had some feeling in his calf again and we had to take him off.

Argh.

His calf is made of dorritos ffs. Always the fucking calf. Glad TOMMY is back at least

Thought you were talking about Tomiyasu there for a sec.

he is back from the Asian ting isnt he?

Correct.

I’m surprised we didn’t somehow get him in the squad. That’d be a very Arteta thing to do.

I believe Minamino went back to Monaco and joined the matchday squad straight away.

Good. Benny Blanco could use som rotation/competetion aswell

Give Tomi a bit of recovery time and start him vs West Ham.

That’s probably the same to Salah, need rest after tournament

I’d actually like Kiwior to continue on this, however I think Arteta will opt for Tomiyasu because of Kudus and Bowen.

Manchester City should have 116 charges selling us him and Jesus

Hopefully isn’t much longer than a couple of weeks, we need him available for selection.

These former city guys are too brittle

Nahh, let Kiwi come off the bench a few more times before starting him. Let’s see if he can repeat what he did in the Liverpool game.

Zinny when he’s having a masterclass but then sees an opportunity to do an unnecessary fuck up and give some bum team a chance to get back into the game: :zinny:

His calf must be rotten beef mince at this point. Its ALWAYS the calf with him and he is always " just about to get back " .

I don’t think in Mikel’s mins that Zinchenko has expired by any means however there is a sense that the stronger defensive platform allows our midfield and attackers to do their thing easier.

Martinelli still put in a shift yesterday but give him some more freedom up top and let the LB mop up most of the work.

Zinchenko reminds me too much of those overpowered, glass cannon characters in games where they have great benefits in one proficiency but if you let a particular opposition character get close to them and they get nuked.

Maybe he’ll even move into midfield when Timber is back.
