Oleksandr Zinchenko (17)

Zinny was fantastic the first season here. He and Gabby definitely had a huge positive mental impact on the team/squad.

I wish him well if he does depart in the next week.

One of the only players in our team who actively makes progressive forward balls when needed.

I guess Cala + MLS own the LB spot now? Or is that Timber’s now that White is back?

Frustrating we’ve never seen him tried in midfield

We have seen him there but for very little(subs as far as I remember).
A shame because I think there were many situations, even as far as back to his first season here where we could have used him there.

Want him to leave asap, but it is hard to deny that a big cultural shift happened when he joined the club. His mentality was to be involved in a title race as it’s all that he knows in England.

Shame he let Trent Meg him, gain and assist and send him to the bench crying. It’s my lasting memory of Zinny here followed by getting linked by his ex team mates at the end of a cup game.

We should get €20m for him, right?

Hopefully up front and not cut into 5 installments.

Zinchenko has a good attitude, as well as being a decent player but he is third choice LB and rarely starts in midfield and is on massive wages, so selling him in this window would be good business if we can get 20m or more.

If he could stay fit he’d have played plenty. Got the ESR disease of being injured everytime there’s an open spot for him to fill.

I’ll be sad to see Zinny leave. He was great when he arrived and really made a difference to the way we played as a team. Due to the evolution of the team, I can understand why other players are preferred in that position. If he can find a move that he is keen on then this is maybe a move which suits both parties. Hopefully get a decent fee for him as well.

Cheerio. 25m would be an acceptable fee - probably in euros.

Isn’t that roughly what we paid for him?

Rubbish player, good riddance.

Think we paid 35m pounds.

Like I said, initially he rose the bar a bit. But of a weak link now.

Dortmund or Madrid.

Best of luck Zinny

I don’t even like Simeone like that but he should head to Spain obviously

Dortmund are no longer a serious club at all

Yep should be a no brainer for him if that interest materialises into a bid

He’ll play as a 10 for Simeone surely lol

Brother, he’ll play every position you can think of under Simeone except goalkeeper.
